96 solid drapes for the 12 seasons

Every season has its own group of six or seven colors, chosen by temperature, chroma and value. Compare two or three seasons side by side, family by family, until one palette wins.

  • 82 colors plus 14 neutrals
  • Each drape labeled with its name, dimensions and suggested season
  • 49 × 42 cm, solid color, no prints

The Color Oracle · intuition

96 cards that open the conversation

Before any drape touches her shoulders, your client picks the colors she is drawn to. Each card reads that color for personality, style, self-esteem and visual benefits.

  • One card for every color in the drape set
  • Its reading and suggested season on the back
  • Digital instruction booklet, sent by email with your order confirmation
Nothing to memorize

Every drape and every card carries its own reading

You never have to guess what a color is or where it belongs. The label on the drape and the back of its Oracle card tell you, and your client can read along.

  • NameThe color’s catalogue name, easy to say and easy to remember.
  • T · C · VTemperature, chroma and value, the three dimensions of the color.
  • SeasonThe season the color belongs to in the 12-season method.

How each season is built

Seven color families, compared one at a time

Every season has a red, a yellow, a green, a blue, a purple and a pink. Hold two seasons up family by family, blues against blues and greens against greens, and the right palette shows itself.

Fourteen neutrals

Neutrals that help decide the season

Start the drape test with them: stark black and white against softer browns, greys, beiges and off-whites. How your client looks in each one is part of the reading, and together with the diagnostic tests it narrows the field to two or three seasons.

Once the season is chosen, the same neutrals show her the basics of her wardrobe, the colors she will reach for every morning.

From the first card to the final palette

  1. Color Oracle

    Let her choose

Lay out the Oracle cards and invite your client to pick the colors she is drawn to. Read the cards together to learn her style, her preferences and the image she wants to project. The cards guide the analysis; they don’t decide the season.

  2. The diagnostic tests

Test the dimensions, temperature and metals

Read her natural coloring: personal contrast, the dimensions test (value and chroma), the temperature test and the metals test. Together they tell you which two or three seasons to test with the Color Identity drapes in the next step.

  3. Drapes and neutrals

    Compare the candidate seasons

Start with the neutrals, stark black and white against softer browns, greys and beiges. Then hold the candidate seasons against each other one color family at a time, blues with blues, greens with greens, watching her skin, her eyes and her features, until one season clearly wins.

  4. Both together

    Bring it back to her

Return to the cards she chose at the start and show her where her instinct and her season meet, so the result feels like hers. Close with practical ideas for her wardrobe, makeup and accessories.

96 colors, chosen one by one

Clients embrace their palette when the colors also match who they are. That is the idea behind the Oracle.

Sissa Germann, founder and creative director of Drops de Cor, is a former fashion designer with more than ten years in color analysis. She rebuilt the 12-season method to read every skin tone, and she selected every color in this set against two tests.

Questions

Before you order

Anything else? Write to us from the contact page.

What exactly is in the set?

96 solid fabric drapes, 82 colors and 14 neutrals, grouped and labeled by season. The Color Oracle deck with 96 cards, one for every color, and a digital instruction booklet, sent as a download by email with your order confirmation.

How were the 96 colors chosen?

Sissa Germann selected each color against two tests: it has to work across a wide range of skin tones, and it has to be a color your client can find in fashion today.

What does the Color Oracle add to a session?

It starts the session with your client instead of with the drapes. The colors she picks, and what the cards say about them, tell you about her personality, style and preferences before the technical analysis, so the final palette feels like hers.

Are these PANTONE® colors?

Yes. Every color was selected from the PANTONE® catalog, so the set is consistent from drape to drape. Drops de Cor’s seasonal method decides where each color belongs.

I already own a drape set. Is this still useful?

Yes. The Oracle and the catalogued references work alongside any seasonal method, whether you use 4, 12, 16 seasons or another system.

Is it only for experienced consultants?

No. The labels tell you what every color is and where it belongs, so it works for a first set as well as for an established practice.

When will it ship?

The set is in stock and ready to ship.

Where do you ship?

Orders ship from Portugal to the European Union and from Brazil to the rest of the world. Prices are in USD. Import duties are charged by the destination country, except on orders shipped from Portugal to the EU. Shopping from the United States? Order from dropsdecor.us, which ships domestically.
