The 2026 Edition of the Dimensions Drapes introduces an innovative comparison system that transforms the way analysts evaluate the three dimensions of personal color.
Instead of presenting isolated colors, each drape was carefully designed with strategic side-by-side comparisons, allowing you to observe how the skin responds to multiple color characteristics simultaneously. The result is a faster, more intuitive and significantly more accurate analysis.
Developed exclusively by Sissa Germann for Drops de Cor, this set helps analysts understand not only which characteristic dominates, but how the skin behaves as each dimension changes.
What’s New in the 2026 Edition
Value Drapes
Each Value drape compares Warm vs. Cool versions within the same level of depth.
-
Light: Warm Light × Cool Light
-
Medium: Warm Medium × Cool Medium
-
Dark: Warm Dark × Cool Dark
This means that while evaluating Value, you are already observing the client’s response to Temperature.
Chroma Drapes
Each Chroma drape also presents Warm vs. Cool versions within the same chroma level.
-
Soft: Warm Soft × Cool Soft
-
Medium: Warm Medium × Cool Medium
-
Bright: Warm Bright × Cool Bright
This allows Temperature and Chroma to be assessed simultaneously, making subtle skin reactions much easier to recognize.
Temperature Drapes
The Temperature set goes beyond simply identifying warm or cool undertones.
Each drape compares the two seasonal expressions within that temperature family:
Warm Drape
Cool Drape
Neutral Drape
- Neutral Warm × Neutral Cool
This comparison helps the analyst understand not only whether the client leans warm, cool or neutral, but also how the skin reacts to differences in chroma, value and seasonal characteristics within the same temperature family.
A Smarter Way to Analyze Color
The new comparison system provides a much deeper understanding of facial reactions throughout the consultation.
It allows analysts to:
- Evaluate multiple color dimensions at the same time
- Observe subtle changes with greater clarity
- Identify seasonal characteristics more confidently
- Improve consistency between consultants
- Speed up the diagnostic process
- Better understand how temperature, chroma and value interact on the client’s skin
Rather than testing one characteristic in isolation, the analyst gains a complete visual understanding of how the client’s natural coloring responds to different combinations of color qualities.
